Welcome to our panzer training course. Since this is all new for SCG we are not going to reinvent the wheel but utilize some great material that has already been created. Since SCG has an extensive air combat foundation our approach to ground combat, especially in formation and communications training will utilize an already well established understanding we possess in these areas.
Communication procedures whether in the air or on the ground, allow us to maintain maximum unit situational awareness and give our leaders the ability to give commands and direction in a timely and tactically sound manner. So Comms discipline is just as important with a T-34 bearing down on you as with an LA-5.
However, the new element of crew communication especially during a combat engagement will require some extensive comms training and whisper comms adjustments. It's going to be extremely important for tank commanders, gunners and drivers to maintain clear and concise comms techniques when mulit-crewing a tank.
Navigation and calling out enemy positions and important geographic locations will require some modifications based on the panzer system, and we will come up with the best procedure in due time.
Unit breakdown and formations will be referenced using our air combat understanding of Rottenfuhrer and Wingman, which in air combat, as in panzer combat, will remain positions #1 (Zug Leader) and #2. Staffelkapitan will be the same as Kompanie Kommandeur, and will be the overall Commander on the battlefield.
